5/24 – Today I’m sad to announce that I decided to rehome my beautiful Purebred Nubian Buckling Tamris Farm QG One Hot Tamale.
I realized quickly that at 68 years old, I’m not capable of handling a large Nubian Buck in rut! So I did the next best thing I rehomed him to a Veterinarian who raises Top quality Nubians in CA and once Tamale is collected I will purchase Semen from him.
Tamale will get an excellent home and care with his new owner Dr. William Davis. It was the right thing for me to do and while I miss seeing him in my pasture, I know he’s in the best home!

5/21 – One of my Greenehaven Does is being returned tomorrow to the breeder. Melody has a cupped vulva and tiny teats, , she would not show well and could have a lifetime of urinary infections due to the poop catching in the cup of the vulva.
I’m sad because she was otherwise a Stunning Doeling.
5/6 – Gabby kidded a Stunning red roan with Moonspots, buckling! He’s Perfect! I’m bottle raising him, he is already spoken for and will be going to Idaho next month. Delivery for Gabby was text book and quick! Uneventful which is always the way we hope.
My Nubian Buckling I’m calling “Tito” arrived last Monday, I’m so pleased with him, super sweet and Gorgeous!
My Greenehaven Does arrived on May 10th, they are beautiful!
5/6 Gabby is in Labor!
I’m ready for some dryer weather. I love the green lush vegetation that the rain brings, but I’m ready for some sunshine! And it’s supposed to be here by Thursday!
My new Nubian Buckling is arriving today!!! He’s coming from Tamris Farm in Northern California.
I’m looking forward to show season, first show is June 1st and is at the Salem Fairgrounds.
My 3 Greenehaven Does will be arriving this week, looking forward to showing them as well.
Gabriella is due on the 10th of May and her ligaments are beginning to soften today. She will go into the Kidding Stall at night starting today. Thinking Pink!
