7/28 – I’m so excited!! I just put a deposit on a Gorgeous purebred Nubian Doe! From an amazing Breeder in Salem Oregon, Covenant Farms. Theresa and her family have a small herd of gorgeous, quality purebred Nubians! And they are winning in the show rings!

This stunning Doe is coming soon to Mini Love Farm! Meet Covenant Farms Lacey Ivory, a two year old Nubian Doe. This Doe stole my heart as soon as I laid eyes on her and I wasn’t even looking for an adult Doe, and she wasn’t offered for sale.

I was just looking as we all do and saw her on Covenant Farms Facebook page. There was a video of her lying down while her twins climbed all over her and through it all she was so relaxed and patient. This from a first freshener, her kids are stunning as well.

I visited Theresa’s farm on Wednesday and met her goats. All the goats were friendly and I noticed right away the consistency of long bodied as well as deep and wide. Beautiful breed characteristics and beautiful udders!

I asked her to consider parting with Ivory as she came right up to me for some attention and everything about her said she’s the one. Theresa said she would talk with her husband and let me know.

I crossed my fingers and received a message today that Ivory could become part of my herd! I feel blessed!

Ivory’s 2024 Doeling went to her new home and was shown in the Barn in the USA and won her Intermediate Junior Doe Championship!

Before I bring Ivory home she will be bred to the same Buck as last year for February 2025 purebred Nubians.

MDGA Virtual Show Summer 2024

My first priority is to feed and make sure my goats are comfortable, they have misters to cool the air, fresh water and Alfalfa/ Hay and pasture.

The kids get their Purina Grow w/coccidia medicated grain every morning. My goats comfort is always my first concern, year around.
