October

10/29: Jilly came back into heat today. I bred her to Austin as he was the one that I wanted to breed her to originally.

We shall see

10/19: Covenant Farms Lacey Ivory came home today! What a beautiful and sweet Nubian Doe she is! On November 10th we will ultrasound her and see how many kids she’s carrying 🤗

10/18: Gabriella was bred to Goat Trails BH Stars Over Texas (aka Austin) today for March 17th Kids!

10/11/: Second breeding happened today. Blue Cashmere and Harmony had a date this morning. These kids will be hard to part with! Harmony’s Sire and Dam are both finished Champions in ADGA! Incredible Udders on both sides!

Doe kids from Blue Cashmere will be placed in production homes. I want Cashmere’s daughters to earn Cashmere his Milk Star. These Kids will be first Generation Mini Nubians and Gorgeous!

Goat Trails BH Stars Over Texas*B (aka: Austin) arrived this morning! Just in time because the Does are cycling! Gabriella should be coming in heat in the next few days and she is matched with “Austin”.

These Kids I’m hoping that “Austin” will stamp his beautiful color (black with white and Moonspots) . Gabriella had a gorgeous first freshening Udder last June, high and wide with great medial and attachments! Her teats were fabulous for hand milking with a buttery soft texture. Kids will be first generation and will be placed in knowledgeable Goat homes for production and show.

10/9 : First breeding happened tonight. Jilly-Bean was in full heat and while I had planned to breed her to Austin, he won’t be here until Friday the 11th of October. So….. that ship sailed.

Blue Cashmere was up for the event and Jilly was very happy with him! Jilly will be a 2 year old First Freshener and was quite smitten with Cashmere. The two tango’d twice before they reluctantly parted ways. They may have a morning date if Jilly is willing.
