2026 JANUARY

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

In December I turned 70, that is a number I have a hard time wrapping my head around.  I don’t feel like the 70 my grandparents felt or even my parents felt. Maybe because I never had a hard life such as their generation experienced.

However,  I find that while I can still handle the daily chores around the goat barn, it does take a toll on my energy level. My brain says I can do it but my body says it’s a lot of work.

I have so many hobbies that I love, and always hanging over me are my daily goat chores.

So I have decided to keep my two favorite Does, Gabriella and Harmony and my Buck Blue Cashmere. The two younger Does have found a wonderful new home together.

Going forward I will have more time for travel, my hobbies and still enjoy my remaining favorite goats.

Both Harmony and Gabby are expecting kids in late April and early May.
