8/13/2023 – Things have slowed down here at Mini Love Farm, it’s so nice to have some personal time available to relax and just enjoy the remainder of summer. I’m enjoying swimming and gardening again. I also had a new farm banner made, with my Logo! If you go to Oregon State Fair look for the Purple Banner and stop by to say Hi!
Having only four Does and one Buck makes my life so much easier! Only two does will be bred this year. Keely and Pepper will be bred in October for late March kids. I want the kids weaned or close to weaning just before the 2024 ADGA Show season starts and I want my girls in their peak milk.
Having done a couple of shows this year and State Fair coming up fast, (3 weeks), I have been bitten by the show bug. I bought a stock trailer yesterday, it’s perfect for the Nubian Does.
Four Standard Nubian Does will not fit into the 5’ canopied bed of my F-150 Ford Truck. I’ll also have plenty of room for all the stuff needed at shows for the milking does.
