Rocky will be coming to Mini Love Farm in early July. I decided to bring in a Nubian Buck to breed to my Nubian Does.

My plan is to keep a few Does and breed to my Mini Nubian Bucks for 1st Generation Mini Nubians.

My Breeding Program is produce the best First Generation Mini Nubians from Top Quality Nubian Stock.

With a combination of some of the top Nubian breeders in the US, I believe I can produce excellent Nubian breed characteristics, Lovely well attached udders, Beautiful Conformation and Colorful Kids!

Kids will be smaller but with great body proportion. No Airplane ears, no dwarfy look from breeding to Nigerian Dwarfs.

By breeding to Mini Nubians with good breed Characteristics, you will get the size down while keeping the Nubian Characteristics faster then breeding Nigerian Dwarfs to Nubians or Mini Nubians.

After all isn’t that why we got into the Mini Nubian in the first place? For the Nubian Breed Characteristics?

Now at 70 years of age, I have probably 8- 10 years of breeding goats left in me if my health remains good.

As long as I keep my herd to a small number, I can produce First Generation Mini Nubians and pass them to you to continue to breed future generations of Mini Nubians with all the qualities of the standard Nubian breed.

Oh and here is something you should know, Standard Nubians are much more mellow then Mini Nubians crossed with Nigerian Dwarfs, in my experience and humble opinion.
