“Rocky” at his new home! Mini Love Farm!

Rocky will be coming to Mini Love Farm in early July. I decided to bring in a Nubian Buck to breed to my Nubian Does.

I added Rocky to bring new bloodlines as well as current big breeder show and Milk production names.

Some of the best breeders have since retired and those bloodlines are scattered across the Nation.

Those pedigrees carry fantastic Udders and Conformation and Color! Who doesn’t like Flashy Color?! ZEHN NUBIANS is one example of that! And Davinia’s brought out a beautiful Buckling from Oklahoma to improve her Herds Genetics and add color.

I want my herd name on these gorgeous Nubians that I will be breeding for this year. And in the Fall of 2027, I will be breeding the Doelings to my Mini Nubian Bucks for first Generation Mini Nubians!

My Breeding Program is to produce the best First Generation Mini Nubians from Top Quality Nubian Stock.

With a combination of some of the top Nubian breeders in the US, I believe I can produce excellent Nubian breed characteristics, Lovely well attached udders, Beautiful Conformation and Colorful Kids!

Kids will be smaller but with great body proportion. No Airplane ears, no dwarfy look from breeding to Nigerian Dwarfs.

By breeding to Mini Nubians with good breed Characteristics, you will get the size down while keeping the Nubian Characteristics faster then breeding Nigerian Dwarfs to Nubians or Mini Nubians.

After all isn’t that why we got into the Mini Nubian in the first place? For the Nubian Breed Characteristics?

Now at 70 years of age, I have probably 8- 10 years of breeding goats left in me if my health remains good.

As long as I keep my herd to a small number, I can produce First Generation Mini Nubians and pass them on to you to continue to breed future generations of Mini Nubians with all the qualities of the standard Nubian breed.

Oh and here is something you should know, Standard Nubians are very personable and affectionate, they love their people.
